Sherry, we knew that was you!! How could you ever even doubt that?

Sorry you have had another stroke. I don't know what that feels like as a survivor, only as a caregiver. It means get out the pom poms, put on the uniform...cheer, cheer, cheer until the person you are looking after gets back on track. Recovery should be an Olympic sport..the same effort goes into it but there are no crowds, no sponsors, no medals.

I hope you and the face in the mirror finally go back to being one and the same. As the saying goes - it will not happen overnight but it will happen.

Sherry:

welcome back I wondered about you thought you were busy in your life did not realize you had to fight another stroke. but you are strong and you can fight this thing too. have you talked with your doctor about antidepression and panick attacks. I felt antidepression pills helped me big time for those anxiety attack which I used to find severe than stroke. when dust settles and you find yourself again you can always wean yourself from those pills.

Sherry,

Of course we remember you!!!

As Sue said recovery should be part of the Olympics. Perhaps we need to conduct our own Strokenetwork Olympics - we'd all get gold medals.

Take care of yourself lady and continued wishes for recovery. God Bless.

Sherry,

I remember you well dear! You were upset because you put your cat in the cupboard and your therpist Anne helped you get in to the rehab in Texas. You were very overwhelmed, frightened and felt like you needed to explain to everyone about your stroke because they stared at you.

I kept trying to convince you that it would get better and despite the fact that you've had a tia, you seem to have come a thousand miles from where you were. We're still here, didn't forget you, are still your friends and will continue to be here for you. We're not that easy to get rid of we strokers stick together!
