As you know or can imagine I feel I lost me. Not that now Im not proud of who I was but now I can change, what will I be? Its excitng I guess I have a 2nd chance. Forget my old life. Ill start over. May be im lucky ,a stroke of luck. Is this the start of being reborn? Will my new life have the pain I do now?

You have not totally lost the old you - the old you is still within you. Your outer self changed after the stroke but you are still you; thinks are just done different now. You are slower now than before. In time you will learn to accept the new you and put all this behind you.

I am glad you are realizing you got second chance at your life. I read it somewhere "my stroke gave me 2 incarnation in one life". & I feel we all have our old self within us. now got opportunity to hone good qualities in new you. for matter of fact I am proud of my newself.
