still have my love

Well its after midnight and my hubby has been in bed for a couple of hours. I usually stay up a little longer, I play a game on the computer called freecell (its the only time I can get on without someone wanting to be on it] I started on game number 1 and I play each game til I win then on to the next. I have been playing over 12 years on and off I am on game 10400, there are 1,000,000 games I'll never get through them in my life time but it sure is fun trying.

I also think about the day and what I forgot to do that I need to take care of the next day and try to plan that out. Never works but I try. I think about my hubby and wonder if there was something I could have done to prevent all he is going threw, {more doctors or dentist appts} he is a very strong man and has so much courage he also writes a lot better than me. HA HA. For you who don't know who my hubby is he is Wesley H. Monday he's going back to work full time I sure am going to miss him and all the extra time we have spent together its been wonderful. But I guess the rides to and from work will mean that much more. I will wait all day till I see his beutiful smile again. Thats one of the possitive results of his stroke he smiles a whole lot more at me.WHEW!!! Today is our little boys birthday he has been with us four years now and he is a wonderful dog. Petey has put so much joy and love in this house and he is by daddys side everytime he sit on the love seat unless I go in the room and sit in the reclliner then he sit with mommy. Well its time for me to go lay next to my baby its getting late and I'm tired. I know my thoughts are all over the place but I told you he is the better writer!!!!!

Debbie,

You are a great writer - you write from the heart. I bet you will miss Wes once he's working full time. It's quite normal to think back to before stroke and the "what could I have done differently". Believe me that thinking will pass over time as you continue to count your blessings that you have Wes with you.

Happy Birthday to Petey. I'm sure he'll get extra lovings today.

Debs, thanks for dropping into the chat with Kristen (givincare) today. It is good to chat with other caregivers. At times, as with Kristen and me, it is good to just talk over what is currently happening in your life. It can seem like nothing important, just the ups and downs that fill our day but we become like neighbours, the sort you chat to for a few minutes over the side fence.

You can use your blog in the same way, to unravel your day or discuss something that is bothering you. Others will always be there to help, encourage and sympathise with you. We are like family here.

I look forward to getting to know you better.

Sue.

I enjoy your writing style. you are writing what's in your heart. & from what I can see your heart is filled with ton of love for your wes & your family. your wes is pretty strong & loving man, you both are fortunate to have each other in your life.
