Hi Wes,

I'm glad you decided to post, even if not daily - we don't want you to burn out. A robotic welder - how cool is that. You're right - no breaks, no sick days, vacation or holidays. Hope all goes well with it.

I'm glad you find doing yard work relaxing and unwinding. I never did - my Dad was a slave driver lol or so I thought as a kid. One place I lived I had 2 acres; my roomie and I would take turns or rather me and her boyfriend took turns lol. Post stroke my Bro has fellas from his work come and do it for us - thankfully not much yard but no easy undertaking for me.

Glad to hear you got your parking space back - some people huh.

Hope you and Deb have a great weekend.

Hey there,

I decided to post an entry and didn't know you had done so until I posted mine. I always type it up first and then go to the site, copy and paste. I was glad to see you had posted something. I missed the contact too. I had to smile as I recalled the lawns in Chula Vista when you were learning from your Dad how to do it. I recall you and me having to take care of it when he was out to sea and how we always made sure it was ship shape when he came home! He sure would be having a field day right now on this 1.5 acre lawn. Jim and John have cut it down by at least a half acre. [ha] But with the trees all gone they probably picked it back up. Course they don't have to trim around trees either! Your Dad never changed in the way he wanted the outside to look. Like he had gotten the lawn mowed, trimmed, shrubs all trimmed, even around the pond and had just finished it up the day before he had the stroke. I loved that last sentence. "I have generally found that the guy who manicures his lawn is usually very detail oriented, honest, helpful and trustworthy

Let us know how the mine trip goes. I'm like Deb as it sounds like fun!

Never thought about the outside telling how one is...I always thought the inside of their vehicle told a lot about them. I absolutely enjoy yard work and take pride in our yard.

Have a good weekend.

Wes: I am so happy to see you posted along with your Mom. I have missed the both of ya. I hope you and Deb enjoy your trip, I can't wait to hear all about it. Don't forget to take pics. Yep, your workmates don't know the type of guy you are. There's nothing to it BUT to do it, they should have known you would be back. Here is my happy dance for you :Clap-Hands:  Hope those who used your parking space realize they are :busted: Other mode of transportation to get to work. :bicycle: Bet they would not park there if they saw the gun. :) hehe :hunter: :scooter:

Oh, well, maybe they were just protecting it for you until you came back to work. Think positive, right.

Take care my friend, Jan

Yardwork is more than just emotional therapy and attention to detail. Grab the hand clippers and work on those fine motor skills. lol

Still can't get over somebody actually snapping up the boss's parking spot, even if he wasn't driving. Talk about nerve! I would never get your spot. That would be like somebody getting Jim's spot on the couch! WOW!

You know, don't you, that once Deb finds some tourmaline, you're gonna be paying for some custom jewelry!!!! And I wanna see it!!!!!!!!!!

Muah! Have a geat weekend-----
