Hello my name is phil -affectionately known as Webby. Im a West aussie who enjoys having a laugh. Two years ago my life changed, due to having this brainstem stroke, the early days were quite difficult, but now I have never looked back, as I have said to a couple of people I dont wish to post my recovery stages as to there are many out there who are still fighting recovery,it's my way of respect & I wish them well .All I can say Im getting there, slowly. To the friends of this magnificent site what can i say.... you have helped not only me but hundreds if not thousands get through this and I will always be your#1 fan and will be highly recommended by any one who asks . Im not a very good story teller, but from the botom of my heart -THANK YOU

Phil,

You're off to a great start. You're probably an excellent story teller as I'm sure we'll see when you're relentlessly nagged to do so as I was. Welcome to blog world.

Hi Phil..saw you in chat tonight. I am also a brainstem stroke survivor. I can identify with all the different stages of recovery. Every step taken is a step toward progress. Glad you have joined us. God bless.

hiya phil/webby. you did an awesome job on your first blog. just tell it like it is, or whatever you want to say, we are not picky around here,LOL. my hat is off to all brain stem stroke survivors for what they can contribute to this great site. that is the worst stroke to have i think. not to single out BSSS, all survivors are special regardless of type of stroke. we are one with our strokes. we survived the darn thing. it brought alot of good people together though, to help others. i too will look forward to your other blogs so keep 'em coming. kimmie

Phil-Webby,

What a great story. You stated your case well... I had a Thrombotic Stroke back in Dec. 10, 2006. I'm not sure what that is but any way I can relate to your story.. Keep your blogs comming mate... I've enjoyed catting with you to... :D
