Bill and I will celebrate 40 years of marriage on June 15th. How is that possible we cant even be that old can we. Its been a wonderful forty years no matter what bumps were in the road. We have two wonderful sons and 3 grandkids and 1 brand new great grandaughter. I keep promising myself to get pictures of us one and all posted With all that goes on in our lives it seems I never really find the time. Its still on my to do list. Its times like this that make me so glad that I have the wonderful husband I have. We are a matched set. I know that love only grows stronger every day. Hugs Karen

Karen,

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. Saw the picture of Madison and Kaylee in the gallery, they are precious.

You 're not old just likely got an earlier start and can enjoy and reap the benefits commitment and working together maintain a strong marriage and family.

Many continued blessings always,

Congratulations Karen and Bill. Ray and I will be 41 years married on 26th July, we had 80 people to an afternoon tea party last year to rejoice with us, that Ray is still here and I am still sane....lol... and all had a lovely time. We may be older but we still know how to kick up our heels and celebrate!

Best wishes to you and Bill as you reach this ruby milestone anniversary.

(((Hugs))) from Sue.

Karen, congratulations! We will be coming up right behind you this year when we celebrate 40 the latter part of November. We definitely have something in common in that we both were married in '69. I'm like you....how can it be????

I didn't realize until Sue mentioned it that it is a ruby milestone. I will have to keep that in mind.

Enjoy your special day!

I did not realize that either and instantly my cogs started to turn mmmmmmmm Rubies she said Then I thought of the horrible space created when they cut down our huge cottonwood tree as the neighhor was terrified it would fall on her house. *sigh* So we are going to replace that life with another in commemoration of our life together our new great grandaughter . We have chosen the type of tree now to go find the tree. It will be a Globe Willow. It grows fast so we can see in our lifetime how it has grown. We thought about another oak or maple but it takes a long time and considering our neighbors fear of trees how fearful are willow branches? The trunk on the tree was over 6 across unreal. What a shame.

Yes we do have alot in common. Isnt that wonderful. Proof that life does not have to end with stroke. We are survivors. Celebrators of Life. Karen

Congratulations! It really does go by faster than you think. We reached 41 in April and I think ours was the least expected of both families to make it that long. LOL

Thanks to Both you and Sarah for your well wishes Like you Sarah I think we were voted the most likely to fail and all the ones who got married forever lasted may a few years tops. HA!! I think our family had faith but not the town. I wonder if I went back to the reunion this summer still married to the same guy HA HA HA But I wont go as I just cannot deal with all the OM what happened stuff. If its one thing I cannot stand its pity. Karen
