Bob, wonderful news! I went back and read your earlier post and note that you stroked in April of this year. You have come a long way, my friend. I know it hasn't been easy and the days are challenging, but it is quite an accomplishment to pass your driver's test. I can imagine your wife is thrilled, too.

You mentioned finding another career. Have you been looking into this, too?

Good luck and enjoy your new days "on the road" again.

Bob,

I'm so happy for you and your wife. you for gaining your independence to drive again. And your wife for giving up her chauffeur hat.

From so-meone that has been in the same situation and you passed your drivers test let you wife tag along for a while, our brains still have

to re-familiarize your reactions on the road. Four eyes are better for a while that two.

That is great news Bob, you are officially behind the wheel once again. I know you feel like a brand new person driving yourself around and to appointments. You may even start working again, who knows?

Bob,

That's great that you got your license back. I got mine back last June 6, 2008. A happy day for me. I too had a left pedle extension on my car plus a ball on the steering wheel as well as some contact mirrors on the sideviw mirriors. It's a great feeling to be able top drive again. My only proble is my lead foot that I have. I got a speeding ticket and had to take a driving class. Boy have I learned my lesson. I try to drive the speed limit now.
