I am 2 1/2 post stroke. I was working late at my office and suddenly could not hang up the phone and knew something was seriously wrong. I called 911. My family was told my chances of survival were slim. I spent the next month in t he hospital and a rehab hospital. My life is not as it was but I am here and I am able to do most of the things I could before. I do walk slower and have to manage with the use of only one hand but I am greatful for to be able to have this time of my life. I wonder someimes why my recovery is not as complete as many others, but you can only do the best with what you have.

Londa,I was looking through the gallery and saw you pleasant smile, had to read your bio.Let me say you look wonderful and no most of us don't do things the same way but we get it done somehow and sometimes hopping no one sees us.I stroked 2001,when I think of all I've lived to experience since, all those tough days in rehab are worth it.I saw my twin sons graduate highschool, get married and this past May,I was blessed with my first grandchild,a little girl and I was right there and saw her being born, boy what I would have missed. You keep up the good work, take care and keep smiling, yours is nice mine is still a little crooked.Laree
