About Me

I'm a registered nurse working in a Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit. I am also a granddaughter of a stroke survivor.

 

In my years working as a nurse, I have seen many patients and families struggle with stroke, brain injuries and neurologic conditions. Many anxious questions. Scary prognoses. Disheartening challenges. And also miraculous recoveries. Whatever the outcome, the brain is never easy. However, the journey is easier when one understands what’s happening (or at least understand a little part of it). Lately I've started a blog which hopes to answer some common questions about the brain, and how to help, heal and save it.
