    Camping, Hiking, Fishing, Cooking, Needlepoint, Crochet, Knitting, crafts, reading, and enjoying life as best I can, of course these were activities pre-stroke. Now I'm learning how to use my right hand to revive a childhood passion of drawing. Makes me wonder if that should have been my career in the first place. You see I lost the use of my dominant hand, left-handed, so now I'm doing things with my right. I haven't picked up needlepoint much; although I do have the scroll frame for it. I also am trying to pick up cooking, I love to cook. Life is offering me many new challenges. I guess what is keeping me grounded is a brand new perspective on how much more important God has become in my life.

    Gosh Deb, what an inspirational story to read. I started therapy again last week and along with exercises my homework is beginning a new drawing journal, with my left hand. I use to be left handed, but started drawing with my right. I'm doing portraits now, but was thrilled to start using my left again.
