It was confusing to me too Mark.

One of the most difficult things to do it to listen to my body. I start doing something, want to continue, and then overdo it.
I am slowly learning ( after 2 years) that it is okay to do things in small steps, to stop when I am tired, and it's really important to sleep as needed.
After all, the brain needs rest too!
And it's a great idea to ditch the alarm clock!
I am so glad it hasn't happened since.

Oh gosh, what a scare! I get those symptoms sometimes when I am overtired, and it scares the heck out of me. Sending hugs to you.

Kelli, thanks for posting this!
I suffer from SAD and have for decades.
I purchased a mood light, and ensure that I have it on every day once the darker days hit.
It has made a world of difference for me and has made autumn and winter manageable.
I am happy to say that my health plan covered the cost of it, which was a big help too!

Here I am! SueC from Vancouver Canada. I am on the live stroke survivor chat most days. As I am quite antisocial, Covid has not affected me as much as others.
My husband does all the shopping, safer not to have both of us out there in the shops!
Thank you GreenQueen for checking on everyone. And thank you for all your thoughtful comments.
I don't think I would be anywhere near where I am in healing, had it not been for this group!
