Spring Has Arrived

Well, as most of you can feel the heat, and see a little greenery around, Spring is here and just about in every state in the US. So we can look forward to a very warm spring maybe a very hot Summer too! If we are lucky our winter months won't be so much snow as in the winter past! I know here in Texas it was terrible with the drought where cattle were dying and water was none existence! Now it's raining again in Texas but a little late for the farmers and the ranchers who lost much of their crops and cattle! Our area lakes are back up a bit and it is warmer this time of the year than usual!

Fred, it's like summer here! We had a record temp of 86 today and it's been warm all week. I here the thunder now so I guess we are getting rain too for a while. All this warm weather and we will probably pay for it later. The tulip trees and other flowering trees do look nice this spring. I'm ready to take Larry to our Botanical Gardens.

Fred,

Ditto for summer here. Yesterday we hit a record high (81). It feels like June rather than March. Our crocuses and daffodils are blooming. That is a great sign!

Fred,

I love this time of year. Spring and Fall are my favorites.

I do think that this summer will be miserably hot for us.

Take care.

Yes I think the weather has been crazy or unusual for the past two years with more snow in the winter months that we seen now the extreme heat and here in central Texas a Drought, WOW! I have NO grass left in the front yard and I'm not buying any! I will have the yard man do the weed and feed to see if that will start it growing. Some of the trees in yards on my street are green while my little tree seem so dead!

Thanks to all of you for the comments!

Fred!
