what a great cobconcert

well as promice here is a blog about the concert that we went on sunday, the door open at6:30 and the concert starting at 8:30 we had really great aeata it was held at b,c,place stadiun in vancouver, sir paul mccartney is absolutly amazing nan and preformer he is now 72yearsold but he looks and sounds munch younger and even though we wait about 40 minutes after he did come up on stagw he preform non stop for 2 hoyrand 56minutes and the reviw that he got from our local paper the vancouver sun it was said that he can still shake rattle and roll with out stopng and can do that even better at half his age he did every tune from the beatles abnd followed up with mcartney tunes and john lennon tunes and george harrison tunes and even did a tribuye to jimmy hendtx foxy lady and in remembering his friend john lennon he did a tune called i remember when great tune and the something in honour of the late george harrison after which we bought a poster and i got a tshirt from paul mccartney hr started of with roll up to the magical mystery bus is waiting to take you away , let me roll it to you yesterday, hey jude, in my life i read the news oblado obla damaybe im amazed and magahintide an old scottish tune complete with bagpipes and the delta big band r,c.m.p. in full costume it was magnificant i saw her standing there songs from the abby road and the headline read it took 48years to prepare the show but it was worth the wait!!what a preformance and i walk there to the stadium up the stars and into the elevator and then from the stadium to the car and i walk up the stairs to my seat so yes i did have a stroke but even though i am still able to get out to see paul didn"t get home until midnight and went to bed at 2:00 so yes it was a long nite and yes i was very tired but if i had the oppertunity to see him again i would go again and again great show keep on rocking and i will keep on on seing you

You have come a long way with your recovery. You are a great role model for us all. Walking to the concert, staying up that late - Wow!

 

Yes, those songs are great. Nothing compares to his music or the Beatles these days.

I am so happy for you, you went to concert walking & achieved everything independently without getting tired, you are rebuilding your strength & by doing more independently I can see lot of travel with your lovely wife in your future. I am glad you had great time at concert.

wow lenny, how exciting for you to be able to see that concert. the beatles were my favorite band back in the 60's, paul was my favorite with his beautiful voice. man playing for that long for a man his age is something these days. i'm so happy you and your wife had a great time, it probably was a once in a lifetime event for you. makes for great memories and your great recovery got you there on your own. you must have been very happy about that. you rock lenny. thankyou for sharing this experience with us, wish i could have been a fly on your shoulder! LOL
