Yes sir there is a difference, we are survivors for sure and in my case it has been nearly 12 years I'm still here thank God!!!

I agree with you though I feel I fet like victim first two years when I was depressed & crying all the time. now ofcourse being 12 years I feel like stroke survivor & thriver than victim

I agree with all of you! I felt like a victim for years until I found this site and they made me start thinking survivor rather than victim. It sounds so minor, but it really does make a world of difference! By the way, thank you for "educating" that gentleman!
