What a blessing to be able to watch the sun break the horizon for a new day.

Watching the pin/Orange Hues as the sun plays peek-a-boo behind the low hanging clouds.

The silence is broken by the chirping of two blue jays saying good morning, the only other sound heard is the dripping of condensation from the air conditioner from the air conditioner. Those drips remind me of the tears shed due the many losses caused by my strike, My tears are gone now, Today and every day I celebrate life anew, what a blessing to get a "do-over" and being able to really appreciate the beauty of life much like a child witnesses things for the first time.

Far to long prestrike, I was too busy to appreciate life's big and little things.

As the late great John Lennon once said," life is what happens when you're bust doing other things. I now fully understand that lyric.

What a blessing this day is, I thank god.
