With many smiles, eye contact,waves,and handshakes, our roommate came back to her home,and pretty blanket. I was told that A patient may stay in the hospital for a week and her bed would be held. If she stayed more than a week then if there was any open bed,then she could return to the facility. She returned in time.

Unfortunately sh continues to refuse to eat or drink. She is wasting away. Occasionaly a cna will sweetly encourage her to drink but no one ever gets her to eat. Sometimes I have seen her refuse medicine. I do not see her family much. It seems to me there wpuld be a more humane way to go about this.
