Giving back control

Regarding the new be at the hospital that I invited to the face-to-face support group me to make decisions for him which I did it was always voluntary

As we all know life post-stroke there's very little you have control over we all have different experiences but I remember I couldn't even go to the bathroom when I was in the hospital and then someone came in to assist me absolutely no control this was his attempt to take back control it's only a perception of lost control but it was the one thing that he can hold on to that he has control over even though I never suggested taking it away from him

I'm happy that I was able to give him control giving him back a little control of course will have the benefit of hindsight 20/20 hindsight and knowing.

Or assuming involvement in a support group that early would have been beneficial.

Be blessed and be a blessing,

Jay
