An answered prayer
Yesterday after I did my volunteer work I was waiting around for these support group meeting which started an hour later I was sitting in the lobby and this woman younger than she told me she had a stroke a week ago I'm assuming it was relatively mild she never went to inpatient rehab I never had the opportunity to meet her she said I've seen you on the bus what time is the next bus coming I told her she had about 10 minutes send the worker that brought it down from the acute care floor and I said I'm going to walk over there with him just to make sure you get there safely she kept saying god bless you god bless you I can't believe you're doing this this is so wonderful of you doubt me out I said well God bless you and you're the answer to a prayer she's what do you mean I should I ask God for the opportunity to do at least one random act of kindness and I encountered you so thank you she said you're such a beautiful person I can't wait to see you on the bus again 2 hours later when I finally made it up to the north end of town we chatted for a few minutes she again thank me for my assistance and I told her I would offer to help her offer assistance a time I see her in fact when she was waiting for the bus she was struggling to get her coat on boy can I relate to that one and I said do you need some assistance you so that'd be great he said I always ask I don't assume people need assistance I prefer people to ask me if I need assistance is supposed to just helping me she says well that is so true I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet this young lady young lady she's 47 younger than me but I talked to her about our support group which meets once a month and she said was interested but for me to remind her when I see her.
Be blessed and be a blessing,
Jay
