As my daughters packed up their gifts and their children, I hug my daughter and said hopefully next year I can get you a real present referencing getting my disability.

As my wife was preparing to go to bed she complimented me on all the cooking that I did starting with the peanut brittle the scramble Banana Nut muffins and then today pulled pork and coleslaw what an amazing gift be able to cook for my family.

I can't say I'm happy I had the stroke but I must admit I'm ecstatic that I was given a second chance and how much I appreciate life.
