I shared my poem with two friends yesterday and the first one said it's more poetic prose than a poem but it is nice that kind of took me back 30 plus years to very painful event while attempting to share a poem with a friend exposing my vulnerability by doing so she threw it back at me and say you call that a poem that comment shaped my way for the next 30 years.

The other friends that I shared my poem with yesterday later in the day hey she was reading it she looked at me and said oh my god I can feel this coming from your heart it's so beautiful because my writing is from my heart.
