Howdy

First, just because I said birds, bees and other things I want you to know that this blog is about "Birds, Bees and Other things" Not sex!

First the birds. Well this morning I had a couple of American gold finches playing chicken with a ruby throated hummingbird at the feeder. Then came the blue jays, blackbirds and crows. Weaving his way in and out between the birds was the chipmunk.

Well that is the morning rush at the feeder and the birds and the chipmunk provide hours of entertainment.

On occasion there are a couple of Pigeons and Mourning Doves that visit and provide a very soothing sound with their "coos".

There is a field that I pass through on my daily walks. It is overflowing with wild flowers and alive with colour. Butterflies and bees flitting from flower to flower as busy as well... bees. lol_2.gif

So there you have the bees and the other things are the chipmunk and the butterflies.

I give thanks to the Creator for providing such wonderful creations. When I was out this evening I was able to walk down to our waterfront to enjoy the close of our Community Summer Fest. There was a parade of light decorated boats at dusk and fireworks.

I met friends for the fireworks and after we gathered at one of the friends homes to enjoy a Tim Horton Donut and a cup of Peppermint tea.

Just another day in paradise eh cloud9.gif

ps Along with the decorated boats and fireworks there was another light in the sky. The crescent shape of a new moon. Just a beautiful nite.

GEE GARY, I GOT SUCKED IN. YOU COULD HAVE THROWN IN ONE SENTENCE ON MATING.

LIVING IN THE WOODS I WAKE UP TO THE SOUND OF THE BIRDS, MANY BIRDS, EVERY MORNING. WHAT WONDERFUL MUSIC THEY PROVIDE. THERE ARE 10 BIRD HOUSES IN THE YARD, BUT THE MOST FASCINATING IS THE ONE OUTSIDE THE KITCHEN WINDOW. THE HUMMING BIRDS REALLY KEEP THEMSELVES BUSY.

WE ALSO HAVE MANY DEER. YESTERDAY, WE GOT TREATED TO A NEW FAWN MAKING ITS APPEARANCE. AIN'T LIFE GRAND?
