Kids and keyboards!

Ryan got lasagna in the keyboard last night. I'm literally picking food out from between the letters - How do you clean a keyboard? Can you take it apart and wash it? The p and the o are covered in spaghetti sauce, and there's something on the F4 key that I don't want to know about! If I get electrocuted wiping the inside of the keyboard down with windex, this kid is in big trouble. It's my computer! I swear he'll never eat or drink in this room again! If I can't get back online you'll know you can't clean a keyboard with windex! I've turned the thing over and I gave it a good shake, which was a bad idea! Do you have any idea how much food can fall into a keyboard?

So I'm griping about the little things - I know I should put things in perspective. But there's last night's lasagna all over my keyboard! angry.gif

Computer Keyboard Cleaning Tips

1. Unplug the keyboard from the computer. This way you will not get electrocuted. Turn your computer off before unplugging your keyboard.

2. You can pop the individual keys off, clean in the area, and pop the keys back on.

3. You can use cans of compressed air to clean in the area underneath the keys as well.

4. After cleaning, plug your keyboard into your computer before turning it on.

5. If all else this fails, you will need to purchase a replacement keyboard.

Good luck and where do we send the bail money.
