AND LIKE WHAT YOU DO!

I know not too many people's day would be consumed with moving (literally) horse manure (yewwww!!!!yes my SUV smelled like a barn) but I initially got over that pretty darn quick by envisioning the great crop of tomatoes I'll have next year by laying in plenty of compost in my raised beds for next year. THINK FORWARD The old proverb of work for the fruits of the future

I think we can all have a pretty good darn life if we do what we enjoy and even enjoy the process of it....I think I had gotten cycinal have thought of how easily I could be replaced by a trained monkey. But no monkey is going to grow tomatoes by hand after choosing the varietes themselves and then getting the whole shabang into the ground....It pleases me to make my yard pleasing and productful to family and friends. Before stroke-I had ripped out the rasberry bushes and my kids still lament over not being able to just go out in back and pluck them off the stem, so I think I will replant, they make the kids happy. It ain't no party doing what I did (in 90+ heat) but it will be worth it in the long run, kinda like what I use to tell myself in therapy. The more you put into anything the more you come out of it with.... cloud9.gif

find what makes you feel productive and you will feel life is worthwhile.... biggrin2.gifhappydance.gif
