Those are GREAT tips! Number 6. re: potatoes: I learned that if you make your mashed potatoes the day before and USE SOUR CREAM, in place of milk, they stay soft & fluffy & taste great!

 

I've always worked & flew home on Wed. (terrible mess at the airport) so we celebrated Thanksgiving on Fridays. Gotta do what you gotta do.

 

Why don.t we do the turkey the day before???? Good idea!
