I got three emails about this book. Looks like they are covering themselves by email. All emails were mass, that is they did not asked to have it reviewed. Two of the names mentioned (Kate Adamson and Cleo Hutton) are Stroke Network members.

So... what are you saying? Are these emails spam? What does that mean?

Are our members being used in something that is considered bad on the net?

How can we find out if this is something that we could consider looking at or something that would be better not to look at at all?

Does this make any sense to you? Sorry for all of the questions but inquiring minds you know.

I don't think these messages were spam. Rather the person who sent them got various lists of emails of people related to stroke. Have no idea how they got the emails. I know mine is readily available because of The Stroke Network. It is listed all over, plus I have two addresses which have the word stroke in them. One of the messages I received, however, did not go to either of those addresses.

I don't actually think it is anything to worry about. If you want to know more about the book you might pm Kate(kadamson)or Cleo(chutton) since they are both contributors.
