First Day Of Winter at 1205pm, somehow that would be debateable by those who have already experienced many feet of snow, severe cold tempertues, even had accidents due to the weather.

One thing for sure, it's cold and snow is still falling. The snow birds will be packing for their trip south to Florida where tempetures are a mild 80 degrees currently. The snowflakes are falling here on strokenet, how neat!

I'm not near New York, but I can imagine the weather is a factor for stroke survivors getting around town. I hope all will be safe at home and wait until a better time to get out on the town.

I know shopping on my scooter would be out of the question, even here I'm waiting until the crowd is down some, so I'll give after christmas small discounted gifts. It's only because the basket on my scooter is also small and I can't haul the big boxes. What an excuse huh!!

I do hope Everyone Enjoys the Winter Time Stuff, especially the fresh baked cakes and cookies. Don't forget to stock up on the 2% milk. We never know if the cows may go on strike for lack of green grass.

That reminds me of my THOUGHT for today: It's amazing how a cow, any color, can eat green grass, drink water, and produce white milk, yellow butter and red meat for us. No wonder they get mad cow disease and can't stand up!!
