It's a good feeling to go from EMS paramedics to ER as a patient, get diagnosed, discover the reason, then begin the long road to recovery as a survivor. Some stroke patients don't make it to survivor status.

A.J.,

Welcome to our blog community. We really get to know each other well, back here out of sight from the main Strokenet membership. My husband's story---those first few days of not recognizing the onset of a stroke---is similar to yours so far.
