Aussie Spring Time

Aussie Ken

Yipee :Clap-Hands: it's finally getting warmer here in Sydney. Although it's been a mild winter it's still gets quiet chilly, at least we don't get snow here.

Sons soccer team won their comp so he's happy, Daughters team came mid comp but she had fun and the ladies took good care of her. She is busy studying for her final high school exams.

My walking is getting better but i have it's moments. Foot drop is my main bug bear, one moment i'm walking well be next moment i'm walking loopsided. After all the time i had spained ankle i was able to get around reasonably well but since the stroke i still need assistance. the key i find is never give up and keep up the exercises,

My goal is to be walking independantly by christmas, if i can get my foot to settle down i will investigate hydrotheripy soon.

So stay strong never give up.

hey Ken:

we are complete opposite spectrum of season, we are getting into Fall, and I m thinking about winter, and you are heading into summer and spring.

I love your positive attitude, and also like your mantra of never give up, but also enjoy your journey, destination will be big reward, but don't forget to enjoy the ride

for me our soccer season is going to start in 15 days

Ken,

My walking is about like yours, but walking without support seem so far away for now. At times, my leg and foot seem like it had another stroke all by itself. I have hope and determination to get better. One day I'm walking good, the next day trouble walking so I think it's the brain not responding to that part of the body functions.

Makes me wonder if those days I feel headaches, I'm losing brain cells. The neuro doc says no way for that to happen. Good luck with walking unassisted by Christmas.
