I LOVE my house cleaner

I LOVE my house cleaner. Feel so fortunate to find somebody that will clean the house -- just a little weekly event -- she comes by for two hours once a week and tidys the bathroom, kitchen, and cleans the floors. It is amazing how much less stressed I feel when the thought of having to clean on my day off - is gone.

Today she asked me "where does all your dust come from"? Guess I have more dust than other houses she cleans. I think it's because we have forced air heat, and the ducts need to be cleaned. Or could it be the gravel airstrip we live on? :)

Hi Karen.. I can relate to the dust..lol We have had a very dry summer, we live off a gravel road, on a gravel driveway. The kids across the way have been riding their "dirt" bikes and I can see a cloud of dust heading over here. On top of that we got or 7 loads of dirt 3 are in the front yard. Of course it was delivered 3 days after i had dusted everything. I have decied until summer is over and John is finished spreading it; and the windows are closed ...that dust is for writing notes..lol

Trev has a casual job cleaning train carriages, he uses a carpet cleaning machine of industrial proportions to clean the carpetted floors. Last night he brought it home and spent a couple of hours this afternoon cleaning the most walked through areas of our house.

What a joy to come home to a house that smells fresh and clean. Or maybe that was just the huge fan blowing air through the house to dry the carpets out? Whatever it was it was definitely the smell of Spring!

Anyway it was a lovely thing for him to do for us and made the rest of my housework soooo much easier.

Sue.
