I am excited for you about your upcoming trip to NY. I would love to know what "Scarlett O'Hara Complex" is about.

One time, while I was growing up, my parents had a big shin-dig to attend. My mother was frugal and didn't want to buy a ball gown so she went to the attic and lo and behold, she found some burgundy velvet curtains that used to hang in my grandmother's house. My mother made her owns pattern and sewed a beautiful evening gown. We used to call it her "Scarlett O'Hara" gown.

After her death, I found it in the closet and my sister encouraged me to try it on. It fit but it was then I realized just how heavy the dress was! LK
