Thanks for the replies and condolences for Uncle Bob, the family is doing well.

Today John (my husband) had his regular check up from his melanoma surgery (2 yrs ago) He now only has to go every 6 months for checkups instead of every 3 :big_grin: We go to the Veteran's Clinic and Hospital for his health care. It is about 100 miles south one way. We had good weather today, only a little fog about 1/2 way there for a short distance. We stop for lunch on our way home, and enjoy the extra time together.

We got out of the car in the parking lot.. there is a little path up a small dirt hill, thru some ivy .. with tree roots.. otherwise you have to walk to the end of the lot and up the side walk. John started up the path and reached back for my hand.......... I said "good luck" he said come on I'll help (pull) you up... Well I did it..I got up much easier than I anticipated. we had a good chuckle.

When we were walking up we started chatting with another couple on the side walk. They live not to far from us. The husband just had his 2nd stroke. He was doing amazing. I told them about our site.. and wouldn't you know, I was caught without a bracelt to hand out. Once inside I pulled out paper and pen and wrote down our site address.
