Teddy gets Blessed

The receptionist here (Teddy's Aunt Avis) went to California last week to see her daughter. While there she visited her granddaughter's pre-school, on St Francis Day (I'm not Catholic so I don't know what day it was) a Priest came in to bless the pets of people. Avis was kind enough to include Teddy. He even got a certificate (actually sometimes I think he might need an exorcism) :Ask:

I recall when I went to Vatican City on Palm Sunday the Pope (John Paul II) blessed the crowd, I said a prayer for my niece. As it turned out she died earlier that day of cancer.

I was blessed again by John Paul II in May of 1982 when he visited London. I had my camera ready. I saw Queen Elizabeth II the year before. I got so excited I didn't get a very good picture of her. So this time I Told myself "wait for it", and I got a fantastic picture. He was looking right at me and was giving a blessing. That was a very thrilling moment. John Paul II was an amazing person.

See Doug, you don't have a Devil Dawg, you have a four-legged Angel! That is so fantastic you were there in London to see the Pope and the Queen. Amazing!
