new thing to do

I have been doing something the last few days I really never enjoyed doing before. I am playing solitaire and crossword puzzles on the computer. :Typing: I really missed out on the computer and video game thing. It really started while I was stationed in England. I recall returning to the US in 1982 and saw several people wearing t-shirts with some yellow thing on it with the word 'Pacman' I had never heard of it. They didn't have that in the UK. I didn't learn about it until later, and couldn't understand what all the commotion was over. I had heard of and seen Pong, but I never got interested in that either. I don't know, but I think i will stick with Solitaire and crossword puzzles. Also on the computer versions, they sort of cheat, they give clues. :secret:

Teddy met another rat terrier yesterday. I had seen a man walking him a few times before, but we never met. I can't recall their names, but the dog was a male and only about 1 year old. He was keeping him for awhile for his daughter. The first thing he mentioned that his dog wasn't too bright which surprised me a bit because Teddy is very smart. :Readpaper: They of course had to sniff a bit. I was a bit surprised because Teddy can be a bit aggressive toward other dogs. Their sniffing reminded me of an ad I saw for 'The Family Guy", where the dog on that show (Brian) met another dog who was sniffing and Brian asked him "Do I know you?". :Ponder: The other rat terrier was not neutered like Teddy, that explains why Teddy is a little chunky. The other dog was 'buff', as the man said.

Teddy continues to improve. Occasionally he will limp, I think some of it a sympathy limp. He is such a ham!

Animals are nortorious for the sympathy ploy - I had a cat years ago who was declawed. After he received attention when he'd sit and hold his paw up, it became a habit lol. I never declawed a cat after that th there was no adverse problems. My cats are always inside kitties. Glad Teddy is doing better. Free Cell is also fun computer game.
