Counting down to D'day

Fourteen days and counting, Kath has been sending out bulletins:) I'm getting alittle apprehensive about going, I know it's silly but it's the what if something happens and I'm so far from home. I'm sitting here looking at a -22C temperature and am thinking what is the matter with me, there's heat out there:)

We've been busy doing and picking up small things for the trip. We both bought new "New Balance" sneakers, and sandals ( only time I think they'll come off is fine dining and bed) :)

Shirts at the cleaners, picking up the suit Monday, I made up a list of things we need to take, and we are slowly getting it all ready, then two days before we'll start to pack ;) Double check the list to see that we haven't forgotten anything the morning of our flight, and when I get on board gonna have a scotch and relax :)

14 days and counting - that is way cool. Your anxiety is natural but do try to relax so you can enjoy the trip to its fullest. All of your "stow-a-ways" will also be your Guardian Angels and watch over you as well as having fun too.

you are going to have great time at cruise trust me on that. It is great you guys are planning so much in advance, but also remember if you miss anything or things don't go your way think of one line "is it inconvience or disaster", and you will enjoy every moment in your vacation.

Have fun and relax. If you have never taken a cruise, it is great fun. Hope you and Kath aren't on diets right now. The food is fabulous.

stu,

anticipation of something good and fun is so great. it must feel a bit strange to try on sandals when it is freezing outside! enjoy the "prep" time and don't forget your camera! kathy

Stu,

Try not to think of it as apprehension, but rather excitement and anticipation. You are going to have an incredibly good time. From the moment you step on that ship in your new rides you'll be so caught up in it, you won't have a care. So enjoy, have a blast, and take it all in, so you can blog it all and be the envy of the crowd when you safely return.
