Donna, I pray that one day they will have

a Pediatric Unit :cloud9:

Today I visited the Stroke Awareness Booth at the hospital :)

They gave me a magnet shaped like a brain and a stress ball also shaped like a brain :D

I look forward to meeting the Stroke Coordinator tomorrow and touring the

Interventional Radiology Suite

Yesterday, Tootie, my daughter, and I took the tour of the Interventional Radiology Suite.

We were greeted with a gift bag with 3 balloons attached.

The following were inside the bag: a dark blue t-shirt with an embroidered Stroke Center logo, a water bottle and a stress ball shaped like a brain.

They also surprised us by giving Tootie a beautiful beige teddy bear. The bear had a white bow on its right ear and was wearing a dark blue polo shirt. The shirt also had an embroidered Stroke Center logo in white.

Since they had a patient using the suite, we were able to tour the pediatric unit. We also were shown where the Stroke Center is going to be located.
