Contact your jury office to be sure. I received jury notices every year for several years. Finally I phoned them. I was told in my county (state?) the rule is that you have to apply everytime you receive a notice and that there was no permanent exemption. But, since I called I have not received another notice and it has been five years.

Be sure that they know you cannot come. You don't want to get into any trouble with the jury folks.

as dans only care taker i have had to request to be excused as well ( i would have brought dan just to make my point ) and since i've been in law enforcement for 20 years i never make it onto a jury panel anyhow.....in 2 years time i was called 8 times ..... just an anomally--- wish it would have been the lottery ( hahah) nancyl

Usually they contact you through voter registration or drivers licensing renewals and I'm off the list too so that's a worry I don't have anymore!
