My Mom Needs Prayer

Last night it all hit the fan, just after I got into the chat room. I started getting phone calls and had to start getting Bob ready for an early bed, get the pets ready for the night, and tear out of here. My mom was supposed to get a pacemaker Thursday morning, but Tuesday night began to have such irratic episodes that she called 911. When I got there her blood pressure was 240/110. Then a few hours after getting nitro, we saw the top number say 157 and thought it was good, but looked and there was no bottom number, then in about 10 seconds 32 popped on as the bottom number. The numbers kept changing and her pulse kept dropping to 35 and she looked like she was gone, but today, looking more like herself and stable. Surgery tomorrow.

Please keep her in your prayers. We have had a lifetime of bad experiences, but I have always loved her, even when I was unable to be around her, because of her toxic attitude.

Sandy, I will be praying for her too. I know we all have our ups and downs with our Moms but in the end they are the only one we will ever have.

Yes, we don't always agree, but we should love our moms as long as they are with us. I miss my mom and wish I had done more for her.

Sorry to hear about your Mom Sandy. I know what you mean about the issues over the years, my Dad and I have had quite a few but like Sue says they are the only parents we will ever have so when they call we will go. We will always love our parents. Hope she does well in surgery and has a speedy recovery. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My mom's surgery went well today. The only problem is she is such skin and bones, that the doctor said it would be hard to hide the box under her skin, it's going to be obvious, I hope it doesn't bother her. and feel sharp where they stretched the skin over it.

My way of thinking is Mom will always be mom no matter how mad they make us at times but we will always love them regardless of our differences of opinions and actions, it's just human nature I suppose!!

Right now she needs our prayers for her condition and I'm asking God to bless her and keep her through her surgery which she now needs and bring her health back to a stable mode and also make the two of you closer in minds and love between mom and daughter!!

Boy that 140 reading is really scary because "I have high blood pressure too and try by all means to control it!!!

Sandy: I am so sorry. We were all having such fun, enjoying your outfit. Always the way, isn't it. Good news on Mom. Hopefully recovery will go well and she will be up and about soon. She will feel better almost right away. That little heart back to running normal and the body not having to adjust to the swings. Keep us posted.

The parking is tight at the restaurant. I don't even know if we will get the one handicap spot - LOL. But I would love to see the Weiner-mobile parked right in front! What a hoot that would be! North Haven would be talking about it for months!

Thank you for coming honey. We did have great fun and I am glad Mom is on the road to recovery. Best, Debbie

Aside from her brachacardia, which could have killed her last night, she also had a mild stroke in 2010, and there was a worry about stroking! But, when I called back to night she was fussing at everyone, so she's back to her normal!

TODAY I HAD A FALL DUE TO A CELL PHONE RECHARGER CORD THAT GOT WRAPPED AROUND MY FEET. MY WIFE COULDN'T HELP ME UP, SO i TRIED TO GET TO MY KNEES (VERY DIFFICULT) WITH UNBENDABLDE kafo AND NO USE OF LEFT ARM. AFTER STRUGGLING AND TRIAL AND ERRORS I FINALLY MANAGED TO GET MYSELF UP ON MY KNEES AND USING MY RIGHT LEG, I PUSHED AS HARD AS I COULD WHILE HOLDING ON TO MY CAT SASHA'S PET HOTEL STAND WAS ABLE TO GET UP AND WALK BACK TO MY CHAIR FOR A MUCH NEEDED REST. I DID END UP WITH SKIN ABRASIONS ON MY RIGHT KNEE, BUT THINGS COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT WORSE.

(LESSON LEARNED) ALWAYS WATCH FOR STRAY CORDS AND LOOK DOWN WHEN WALKING.
