Sarah, please explain more about the hearing problem and what you hope they'll do, I don't know what ENT stands for.  

I don't think the dog license is dependent on having the rabies shot, at least not here.   I actually do the dog license online, so I don't have to trudge out to get it, and they mail it to me.   I get the 3 year rabies shot, to cut cost and effort.

I've never really saved a draft on purpose, but am always seeing it says last auto saved and a time displayed.   It's not clear if you mean you did check your drafts folder or not, but if not, it might be in there.

Sandy, he needs to have his ears flushed by ear, nose & throat Dr. (ENT) because I can't get all the hardened wax out.  If that doesn't work he may need a hearing aid.

The dog license here cannot be renewed without the updated rabies shot.  I did apply for the renewal online but was unable to scan the new rabies certificate in proper format, so had to mail a copy separate.

I'm sorry but I didn't know you could check a drafts folder - I went directly back with the arrow and couldn't find it - how do you find a drafts folder??? 

Oh the wax certainly does block hearing!   On the other hand, Bob already had some hearing loss before his stroke and doesn't really successfully use his aid after stroke.  He did have hyper hearing right after his stroke, but sometime in the first year, I think that went away.   Now I only force it on him if I feel weak and am speaking low, so it helps him catch it.

First, when in the basic settings of my blog account, I see that it is set to DRAFT, rather than PUBLISH.    I don't know if that has to be that way to create auto save or not, but mine is always auto saving.   So if this thing went down right now, and I opened a reply again, there would be a VIEW AUTO SAVED CONTENT on the bottom of this posting box, and if I clicked on it, it would fill in what I wrote previously.    I think it saves every minute, so anything you wrote since the last save won't be there, maybe you'll lose a sentence or so.  

If you are writing and actually hit SAVE AS DRAFT, then go to your blog link from the top of the page (under your username) the saved draft will show there with the word DRAFT on it, and you can finish it or delete it.   But it will only show THERE, WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR OWN BLOG from clicking on your username and choosing MANAGE BLOGS, then clicking on your blog - all post will show only to you, including drafts you made.   This info is probably overlapping some stuff you already know, or you wouldn't have been hitting the save as draft button to start with.   Maybe there will be some new info there, don't know.

I had some cases like that where I think I'm posting or writing something and the page at the bottom says explorer has stopped working so nothing I typed shows up in print...

I get so tired of paying people to come to my house to fix my computer, I sure can't take to them with one hand it's to heavy for me to even pick up...

Sarah: so sorry for the injury. Call the Doc back - both the MRI and the Hoyer are imperative right now. Thank goodness Kelly is back to 15 hours.
