I think you are going to like doing things while you get better and can do more day by day... I remember I was a volunteer right here for a year or so in 2007/8 and it was very enjoyable in my case...

I even worked at Walmart as a greeter and I really think that made me recover much faster being out in public meeting other people... I was using my scooter the VA had issued to me so I could get around much better...  I still walked all around the store with my cane and that helped along with more therapy...

Jay, have fun. You will be fine, I now volunteer at my grandkids school.  I listen to a young man reading. Then he  do paper test  based on what he has read.  This helps  him with testing.  I love it!
