While having coffee on the patio watching the sun glisten of the waters of Lake Huron

I hear the groan of the giant Diesel engine of of loaded lake freighter heading south to Cleveland

Breakfast time birds cheering to each other

Two duck swim along with a school if small fish bobbing like we did for apples

As querulous looks at and begins yelling at me between bites of his acorn

What a beautiful thing to witness
