My gentleman buddy here who keeps a harem (completely joking around here) stopped by and gave me a packet of hot cocoa. I was so grateful since I have not had one in ages. He did not like me when I started playing bingo and had a lucky winning streak. He is the mouthiest thing! But I ignored his remarks and then a most interesting thing happened. He would see me going to an appointment and say good you have your sweater. He came by reminding me of bingo and he sets it up for everyone,especially the ladies. He is in a scooter so he has run errands,fetched nurse in a pain crisis,and asked me if I was going out with wet hair. He catches me toddling around and says what they give you that walker for? One day I said I appreciated the way he looked out for me. He was silent. Then rolled away saying I better walk faster or I would be late. Good he knows how I feel. He goes around being a knight in shining armor to many ladies,but he can show his obnoxious side, show his fighting assertiveness,and rebel side,and yes,often a cold mean streak. You can smell his after shave down the hall. He is quite a character who boasts of losing one toe each year for ten years until they took both his lower legs. He plays the blues loud and late. He is competitive and a sore loser. But he announces being glad when one of his chosen wins. But do not be fooled,he is fickle and will be loyal to no one. Part of his charm. He wears a large silver face of Jesus wearing the crown of thorns. He loves our Lord. I remember when I first moved in this room and I was sobbing,screaming in pain. I heard his scooter motor and he barked,"It's gonna be all right Pam." He has helped out many but on the other hand he has been heard to yell Quit that Fussin! He isnt one to figure out. I pray he will be blessed and know he is loved here and barely tolerated.
