Bossy Nurse Came in saying last night she had so many problems with patients and she was exhausted. I ignore her unprofessional chatter and all is well.

I passed up bingo today and a cna I cried on came in and told me that the lady I always sat with wanted me to come. I said I do not feel well. That is truth. The last hour of norco is difficult. I feel exhausted physically and mentally.

Roomie and I are back to watching shows together and talking about our past lives.

Sometimes when I read your Blog I have to think you may not want to be where you are but for now you may not have many choices in the matter... I say that now because I do choose not to use a home with my wife still living and she knows I do not want to be in a nursing home long as we own a house and we have insurance and Medicare and social security coming in each month....

Good luck with those nurses just insist they treat you with respect in fact demand respect from them I'm sure you are paying something to be there otherwise they wouldn't be getting a pay check.....

I am firm believer in treating others the way you want to be treated, and ofcourse I don't like confrontation & conflicts. So I usually agree with loved ones in my life & go with flow, instead of picking up fights for small things. but ofcourse that's me raised  by strong woman. I pick my battles in life & usually don't sweat small stuff. Recently I realized one another great thing about life. That We have lot of choices in life specially how I respond to any situation. I realized lot of times due to fear about some situation my brain will make some stories about some people, but when I ignore those stories & act in kindness, usually kindness is reciprocated. So I learnt that its us who bring joy or sadness in our life & with all situations. So choice is ours.

No one should have to put up with a crabby unprofessional " professional, I use that term loosely.

As a former administrator of group homes for Developmently disabled adults, I would never have accepted that behavior.

Praying for you.

Be blessed and be a blessing,

Jay

Well these are my experiences In this particular home.

I need to be true and honest to myself and speak my truth.

Maybe someone else may read this and it may be useful to them.

I do not find much written about homes. I am in an expensive area,in a 5 star home.
