Early afternoon yesterday by 6 o'clock there were three or four inches on the roads are ready when was starting to pick up I believe we ended up with close to 8 inches of snow and was 35 to 40 mile an hour winds so lots of big snow drifts

This morning at the transfer location one of them was probably close to 30 feet high and the way the big tractors piled it up it reminded me of my childhood there was a perfect shoot for toboggan to make a run full length of the of the pile of snow of course at this point I'm not even sure I could climb up to the top of that Snow Mountain dad be terrified that I wouldn't make a missed a banana falling in hurting myself why does the winter cold feel so much colder now that I'm so much older it doesn't seem fair does it?

When I got home this afternoon I did clean off the porch and the stairway but I told my wife I said that's all I'm gonna do is I'm not going to push myself and create more health issues for myself but it really was an amazing storm and then this morning by 9 o'clock the Sun was high in the sky the pavement on the road was melting the snow very quickly it was so beautiful once again I find myself thinking God for giving me the blessing of a new life and letting me see the beauty of nature especially the way Mother Nature kicked up your heels yesterday I like a good sunny warm day but I love a good snow storm except when I have to walk and hate them I'll write straight into the wind and snow I really needed a pair of ski goggles just so I could see where I was walking put that on my list of things to find of course but what is it once a year we get a storm like that do I really want to waste money on a pair of goggles that I use once a year.

Hi  Jay, if you want to get a pair get it. That is what I tell myself , life is short, let me enjoyit

. I have not seem snow for a while, I live in Florida, but born and grewup in England. When I was young (long time ago), it would snow good. We would build snowman, and snowballs.  There were epic fights, but good fun.

I do not miss the snow. Last time I saw snow was when I lived in Chicago with Hubby who was born in Florida, and everywinter for 5years would  have a accident in the snow. He hated it.

My Grandkids are going to England, and are hopping for snow, but my sisters said it is not snowing just very cold. They are young so they be alright.
