I'm sorry you had to experience such a hateful response to your blogging. Unfortunately, not everyone has your good sense of humor and there is no excuse for such hatred in this world.

I, for one, will miss your blogs and if that makes me a "dirty b...tch", so be it.

Marty, like Jean says, don't let the turkeys hold you down, soar with the eagles and leave the turkeys in your dust. There are many who'll miss your warped humor... including myself. Please change your mind and come back, pretty please.

Personally, I think people who hate themselves feel a need to spread that around and try to make others miserable, too.

I've been reviewing your past blogs and have yet to find anything possibly remotely offending to have prompted such an insane comment to you. Please come back,like the others who've stated above that many like to read your blog ....mostly for the humor. Don't let the heat warp your perception of reality. Believe your friends who've posted a reply to your blog about quitting.

Take it from someone who has at one time or another, pi**ed someone off or stated the unpopuar opinion. I've been judged and told off and found lacking.... but so what? I am who I am and I'm not changing because others don't see things as I do. I just keep on, keeping on and to hell witth those who don't like me or how I do it. Yes, we are a community who are close knit and we offer support and judgements to keep ourselves on the path but that doesn't give anyone the right to be nasty to you. (Only I can when I'm mad ) Just joking for those of little sense of humor and way to serious.....

Marty, one person is one person, not the whole site. Don't let one person push you away, your posts are valuable to the board and your personality adds to our mix.

You are a tough guy, you can withstand one person thinking you aren't that great, when all of us just pointed out how we love you.

Marty's been around long enough to know that members aren't allowed to take their fights or disputes public to the message board or the blogs. They can either ignore the turkeys or let a staff member know if they are getting harshed so that middle and upper management can try to work it out.
