Kids....well my daughter is 38 she is no longer a "kid" and has a twelve year old of her own....But...

Daughter and I had a nice day together Saturday did a little school shopping for grandson who is 12..he is 5" 9" tall, wears a size 13 shoe and a 32/32 pants....

he is my love.... well daughter has undergone 3 surgeries in the last two years, 2 carpal tunnel, one rotator cuff tear, and an elbow surgery...she has just started a new job which is not repeative motion does not pay as well as her old jobs...but I said well it should be better for you..Some of the new friends at work are on a soft ball team and invited her to play...she was in sports as a teen. I said I don't think you should be playing....(mother's advice) she always gets injured....

This morning I get a call....a soft ball hit her right in the forehead. she now has 22 stitches across her forehead and her eye is swollen shut...they did a CAT scan and nothing is broken ...she is dizzy when she gets up so am sure she has a concussion.. and now she will miss at least two or 3 days of her new job...I am THANKFUL and thanked GOD that the injuries were not worse....

She made it un injured through her game, the next game the team was short and asked her to stay and fill in.....

P.S. I just talked to her she went to the Dr for follow up and she sounds better than she did early this a.m. All is fine with her work, and she can return on Friday and she has promised mom ..no more baseball....
