Do you crumble, tear or nothing?

This is a uhm.gif topic. It could be called "An inquiring miind wants to know" When you have a piece of paper, an envelope or whatever to throw out, do you just throw it in the round file, crumble it up or tear (or shred) it?

My sister and I are both children of the same mother and father and yet entirely different. Except for the fact that at the same age we both had ear surgery, andthat was on different ears but even blood type- she's common positive and I'm rarer negative. I put the toilet paper on opposite (to roll from underneath) and she does it as most people do, from the top so why should it surprise me that she's a crumbler and I'm a person who tears (shreds)

So, what are you? like me or like my sister?

Now how's this for an unusual topic? Is it keeping me off page 3?

There is a third- do you recylce

It depends what it is biggrin2.gif

A small pliable piece of paper will be crumpled. A larger thicker piece or pieces of paper might be folded or torn. Old envelopes will be kept, either to use again or to write list on the back. Most or our paper goes to recycle.

There again if it is winter most of our paper goes to lighting our wood fire in the living room.

Okay,

The toilet paper, has to be turned where it comes off the front.

Trash not to be shredded, folded once, then thrown away. To be shredded paper: in stack then shredded.

We recycle. I have a paper bag next to my desk. I just drop paper in.

I have a cat, so the toilet paper goes on so to comes off the bottom. I read to use this method to keep cats from unrolling. She ignores the toilet paper, so it doesn't actually make a difference. I still place it so it comes off the bottom.

At times I crumble, or most times just throw out. Also, the toilet paper is on the roll so the beginning is facing towards me. I have a certion way I fold towels too. I fold them sides in to meet in the middle and then fold down once.

I'M A TEARER. HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS. SEEMS LIKE A FINALITY WHEN I'M DONE WITH THE PAPERWORK.

AS FOR TOILET PAPER, WE SHARE THE LITTER BOX WITH THE CAT. SAVES A LOT OF MONEY. JUST DIFFICULT TRYING TO READ IN THE BATHROOM.

Yes, I defibitely recycle. The tearing etc. is after that. I use computer paper on back side fpr things that do not have to be sent to a company and either write notes on them or print letters with things that must be done at work etc. As for envelopes, it depends. If they are there and I'm writing checks, I may use them for the math.

Marty, I'm surprised thecat puts up with you. biggrin2.gif
