Pumpkin Pie Dump Cake

 

1 13-oz can evaporated milk

3 eggs, beaten

2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1/2 tsp salt

1 C sugar

1 13-oz can pumpkin

1 pkg yellow cake mix

1/2 cup margarine or butter

1 cup chopped walnuts

 

Combine all ingredients except for the cake mix and margarine. (I do this ahead of time and put it in the fridge until I'm ready to bake it.) Pour mixture into an -9x13 pan. (It will be very "liquidy"---don't worry, that is how it is

supposed to look!). Sprinkle dry cake mix over the pumpkin mixture. Slice margarine or butter over top of cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts. DO NOT STIR! Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
