Good morning to everyone

It's 3:30 am and I don't have any idea why I am still awake. While I was net surfing tonight I happened upon a very interesting website.

strokesurvivor.com

If you haven't been there it is worth having a look.

A very interesting story about a young stroke survivor and how he and his caregiver wife (of four years) have accepted and adapted to the stroke event in their lives.

They have gathered together quite an interesting array of tips, tools and experiences.

So I encourage you to check it out. There is no need to tell him that I refered you to his site cus he wouldn't know me from a hill of beans eh. LOL

As he has had to overcome almost total loss of speech there is information there that may be of help to some of you there as well.

Hope you get a positive power boost!

Gary,

Thanks for the information. I ordered two of the books, one for my husband, Gary, and one for our friend, Dennis, who had a brainstem stroke also. I'll probably order the tapes after I read the book.

Gary, I like his first bold typed line that he is living proof that there is life after stroke. I'm sure his books are helpful and informative in nature. I read the book by Cleo Hutton, and there is only so much that can be said that we don't already know or haven't experienced in some form or fashion.

Thank for finding the site, see being awake and up at 3am ain't so bad after all. Here in Texas, it was almost too cold to leave from in front of the fireplace. Had my computer been downstairs, I probably would have been awake at that time aslo.
