At Christmastime - oops- Holiday time, there's wor

I've had a busy week and I looked foward to being able to enjoy the weekend by staying home, sleeping to catch up, playing on the computer, sending out my cards, wrap packages except for one bow or something---it was to be great! So today was Saturday and I had to go to work, I could not finish all my stores because there was an email that deliveries were to be late. Well, they were later than I expected and I could not finish all. I left one which would take too long to do late last night (I didn't want to be locked in) and which also was near Target where I had to pick up some medicine.

When I arrived, the boxes weren't where they should have been but, I was smart and thought maybe they were taken to the floor and were. In stead of 3-4 cartons, there were 7-8 and when I opened them, I was furious (but controlled enough to avoid a stroke) They had doubled all of the order! I KNOW I didn't double order. In fact, they are probably angry that I don't order enough. (How do they know in Chicago what sells or doesn't in Daytona Beach? That is why I have a job - but do they let me do it correctly? NO!) Well, I was so angry, I suppose I was careless and used the knife in my bad hand and cut one finger slightly. I managed to get it to stop bleeding so I wouldn't decorate the books and then I cut another finger much worse. That sucker was really bleeding and I didn't think just holding it up would stop it as well as a bandaid (word is incorrect- "bandaid" is Johnson and Johnson's brand name) Of course I knew they weren't goimg to call 911 or rush me down the street to the ER but some stores must write up all incidents and I didn't want that mess. Perhaps because it was a Saturday, I was spared and just told where I would find one when I asked. (Yes, I do try to have some in the car but forgot to put a little holder in the car that I got at a home show). It did the trick and I was able to finish the dumb work. I did see a lovely first aid wall chest which has drawers for just about anything that could happen short of a "real accident". So thank you Home Depot for coming to my aid. Can't understand why I bled like when I was on blood thinners. I haven't had even 1 aspirin in 2-1/2 years. Wonder if our systems change if we've had a bleed? Wouldn't think so..............
