I wrote a right ripping rant this morning and then lost it in cyber space. Probably just as well. You should never write a blog when you are mad at someone!!

Ray has found the activities of this week too much for him. We had our grand daughter Tori part of three days this week. He doesn't mind her here one afternoon or two but one night she was here till 9.30pm while her parents went to do some shopping and I think he found that too much.

The heat affects him too because of his diabetes and strokes and he did his equivalent of a dummyspit - he went into the bedroom and SAT on my Christmas presents and squashed a couple. He did it because I was sorting them on the bed and went off to answer a phone call and he wanted to undress for bed.

He always sits on the bed to undress so he said he just sat down. Did not see what I was mad about. Didn't see what was wrong with what he did. Thought I was being unreasonable. I guess we have been married a long time now so I know he gets tired and is unresponsive to what I say, need, think etc when he is tired or stressed and that is what it was. Still annoyed me no end, still feel the same today.

I am trying for the peace on earth, goodwill to all men bit and some days it is hard. 100f/40c here today, really need to do the housework but much too hot for that at the moment, even sitting here typing I am breaking out a sweat.

I dropped in to the Festivus party for about an hour and enjoyed the fun of that but even in virtual space a crush is still a crush and you can't carry on much of a conversation with so many people. A couple of folk new to me popped in too and I would have liked some input from them. Oh well, that's life.

As soon as it cools down a bit I will go on with the housework. Or maybe I'll put the aircon on and iron in front of that. Or maybe I'll just do nothing at all. That is my equivalent of a dummy spit.
